How does it work?

• Reduce solar heat gain through windows with
  solar window film installation.
  Incentive: $1 per square foot of glass area covered
  (up to $55 per room).

How do I participate?

To participate, please follow these steps:

1. Mail or fax your project proposal to Tampa Electric. Once your proposal is received, a Tampa Electric representative will schedule an on-site visit for pre-inspection.
   
   
2. After the pre-inspection is complete, download and submit the solar window film application to Tampa Electric. Once your application is received, a Tampa Electric representative will schedule an on-site post-inspection.
   
   
3. Tampa Electric will process the rebate check after the inspection is complete and all program guidelines are met. Please allow 4 weeks to process your rebate check.
   
   
   

Progress Energy Commercial Window Film Rebates

Incentives for a Window Film or Solar Screen Upgrade include .75 cents per square foot and up to $55.00 per room for facilities with multiple guest rooms. If window film is recommended during a Business Energy Check, you can take advantage of incentives offered by Progress Energy Florida, Inc. to install qualifying shading coefficient film on your windows facing south, east, and west. You must have an energy audit completed by Progress Energy within the past 24 months to qualify.
